Boston Whaler 205 Conquest: Versatile Vessel

This 20-foot walkaround caters to all crowds, serving as a platform for fishing, day cruising, and watersports. Whaler builds an unsinkable boat, but why no vinylester resin or warranty coverage for hull blisters?


The price of gas is on everyone’s mind these days. With a 150-hp four-stroke Verado, the Conquest gets a commendable 4.2 miles to the gallon at 27 mph.
You could call the walkaround a “slash” boat. It’s a fishing/day-tripping/water-skier-pulling/occasional overnighting pleasure craft. OK, the walkaround, with its pudgy profile, may not be the best-looking boat at the marina, but talk about multi-tasking.

Design/Performance
