Menorquin MY120: If the Shoe Fits

This eye-catching alternative to the plastic-looking express cruiser offers a quiet, comfortable ride and ample interior volume for cruisers. It gets poor mileage at higher speeds, however.


The full-bodied midsection maximizes interior volume for extended cruising. Note the large swim platform that increases the waterline length to improve the stability and give the boat greater speed.
Pete Colyn’s 32-foot Sea Ray was too cramped for his wife and three children ages 8 to 10 years old. He thought about upgrading to a 42-foot Sea Ray. “It had the interior space but we hated that plasticky look,” said Colyn. “My wife said it looked like Las Vegas.”
