Donzi 35 ZF: Hold On Tight

This flashy center console rides well in a chop and gets relatively good gas mileage with twin Mercury Verado four-strokes. We’ve seen better on-deck fishing equipment, however.


The Donzi with 250-hp Mercury Verado four-strokes is most fuel efficient—1.6 miles per gallon—while running at 4500 rpm or at nearly 40 mph. This is pretty good in comparison to mileage numbers at the same speed logged by similar-sized center consoles PBR has tested over the past two years.
What a difference a month makes when you’re a boat tester for Powerboat Reports.
