| Aftermarket Livebait Tanks With a more bait-friendly shape and impressive plumbing, the Kodiak beats the AquaWorld. Also: Learn how to make your own for a third of the cost.
When we set aside a day for fishing, we want to fishnot squander the morning looking for live bait. So we take the occasional bait only fishing trip and stock a large in-water pen hanging from our dock that can hold enough bait for several days of offshore trips. Filling the pen is a problem, however. It takes several trips with our Contenders 40-gallon in-deck well. To cut down on the bait trips, we decided to add a second large on-deck removable livebait tank. The tank had to be capable of being used on either the Contender or our 17-foot Action Craft flats boat with their respective pumps.
