Sailfish 234 Walkaround
An inexpensive family fisherman designed for coastal waters, the 234 packs a lot of boat into 23 feet. And it has a plastic fuel tank. Sloppy fit and finish and some on-deck design flaws hold it back, though.

She aint no offshore runner, but the Sailfish 234 serves its mission well as a coastal family fisherman.

Sometimes we forget how darn expensive boats are. You could spend $60,000 on a 23-foot open boat (the SeaCraft 23 retails for about that much with a 225-hp four stroke). It gets ridiculous. Thank God for the price boat, the vessel that gives the working man a chance to get out on the water. Our Neptune 212 walkaround is a price boat, and it has served us well over the years playing the roles of test boat, fishboat and family dayboat.
