Suzuki DF140 Four-Stroke Makes Impressive Debut

Suzuki and Yamaha have been pecking at the heels of the king of the four-strokes—Honda—for a couple of years now. Well, that pecking has turned into a cock fight. Yamaha was the first to offer a 200 and 225-hp four-stroke, and now Suzuki, with its new 140DF, has become the only other engine maker besides Honda to manufacturer a four-stroke between 115 and 200 hp.

Suzuki has some momentum ... it already beat up on the Honda in a 115-hp shoot-out (November 2000). Would this be a repeat? …
